3H Craftworks | Volunteers
Volunteers are the backbone of the 3H Craftworks organization. Without them we could not exist. Some of our volunteers participate by attending our workshop cutting out fabrics and gathering craft materials to make up the kits, which are then delivered to the homes of our disabled clients by a staff member.
The craft creations are then completed and picked up for sale in our shop and on-line. Other volunteers prefer to work in our storefront on Fourth Avenue selling our products to the public. In total we have approximately 50 volunteers who dedicate anywhere from 2 to 14 hours per week.
New volunteers who have some fabric cutting ability are always welcome, as are those with good English skills who would like to work in our store. Also, we are always looking for volunteers interested in helping us with special activities. These include promotion of our products and our program, window dressing and store display as well as membership on our volunteer board of directors.
So if you live in the Greater Vancouver area and have an interest in donating your time to a very worthwhile cause that benefits those in your immediate community, please consider 3H Craftworks.
